Associate Professor Chantler obtained his B. Sc. from the University of Western Australia and his D. Phil. from the University of Oxford.
His research interests include fundamental measurements of Quantum Electro-Dynamics, especially using x-rays; synchrotron and EBIT experiments; and the study of the interaction of x-rays with matter via form factor theory and experiment.
