Electrical Characerisation Laboratory  


The major facilities of this laboratory are intended for preliminary specimen characterisation prior to nuclear microprobe analysis.

Key Features:

Probe station for IV, CV and other electrical measurements at a range of temperatures

Optical microscopy with Olympus BH and LH microscopes and CCD cameras

Charge injection by alpha particle irradiation from 241Am

Electron emission facility for surface studies
