Centre for Quantum Computer Technolgy: Melbourne Node

Embedded in the essence of Quantum Mechanics lies the potential for forms of computing and information processing radically different to the computers of today. Harnessing this potential is a monumental challenge for today's scientific community.
Meeting this challenge involves pushing the limits of nanofabrication technology; cutting edge research into the nature of semiconductor materials; and the development of new algorithms and theories regarding the very nature of information transfer. Australia is on the forefront of meeting this challenge with the Special Research Centre for Quantum Computer Technolgy. Come inside and find out how.
